At our recent AGM, Bob White (TDSFB) reported on The Wild Salmon Connections conference hosted by the Missing Salmon Alliance which took place in January 2025, and was the world’s most significant international gathering of wild salmon conservation groups for many years, aligning efforts behind a renewed global commitment to conserve, protect and restore wild salmon across both the Atlantic and Pacific. It tackled topics including; salmon and culture; the value of angling; the health of our rivers and oceans; catchment-scale restoration; climate change; fisheries bycatch; aquaculture; hydropower; farming, and more.
